Outlook Profile migration can be automated if you installed DeploymentPro by BitTitan. If you did not complete this step or if DeploymentPro did not automatically start for you, see the article Outlook - Create a New Profile.
DeploymentPro is a tool that automatically sets up your email (Outlook) after your company moves to a new system. You only have to perform two actions.
What Happens On Your Computer
A Window Pops Up: At a time scheduled by IT (the switchover time), a window will appear on your screen, letting you know your email needs to be updated.
Your Action: Click the Next or Continue button.
Enter Your Password: You will be asked to provide the password for your new company email account.
Your Action: Type in your new password and click Next.
The Tool Works: The program will now run automatically in the background for a minute or two. It creates a new Outlook setup for you and connects it to your new email system.
Your Action: Wait for the confirmation message.
Confirm and Finish: The screen will tell you the update is complete.
Your Action: Click Finish or Close.
Open Outlook: You can now launch your Outlook application. It should open automatically to your new email account, with all your mail, calendar, and contacts ready to go.
