This is required for all users.


NOTE:  This will clear your recent items list on your Office Applications.  It does not impact data.


How to Update Your Work Profile in Office Desktop Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.):

  1. Open any Office App: Launch an application like Word, Excel, or Outlook.

  2. Go to File > Account: In the top left, click "File," then select "Account" from the left-hand menu.

  3. Sign Out: Under "User Information," you should see your current work account. Click "Sign out" next to it.

  4. Sign In with New Credentials: After signing out, click "Sign in" and enter your new Office 365 work credentials.

  5. Restart Apps (Important): Close all your Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and then reopen them to ensure the new login takes effect across all apps.

Special Note for Outlook: If Outlook asks for your password after the migration, enter your new Office 365 password. If you experience persistent issues, you may need to restart Outlook.
