How to Update Your Work Profile in Microsoft Teams:

After our Office 365 migration, you'll need to update your login details in Microsoft Teams to ensure you can access all your chats, teams, and meetings without interruption.

1. Sign Out of Teams:

   • Open the Microsoft Teams desktop app.

   • Click on your profile picture (or initials) in the top right corner of the Teams window.

   • Select "Sign out" from the menu.

2. Optional - Clear Teams Cache (Important for a clean start):

   • Close Teams completely. Make sure it's not running in the background (check your system tray near the clock, right-click the Teams icon, and select "Quit").

   • Open File Explorer (the yellow folder icon).

   • Type %appdata%\Microsoft\ into the address bar at the top and press Enter.

   • Find the "Teams" folder and delete it. Don't worry, this only removes temporary files, not your actual data.

   • Now, type %localappdata%\Microsoft\ into the address bar and press Enter.

   • Find the "Teams" folder here as well and delete it.

3. Restart Teams and Sign In:

   • Reopen the Microsoft Teams desktop app.

   • When prompted, sign in using your new Office 365 work credentials

Phone numbers are automatically migrated and you will be able to receive calls on your assigned phone number.
